When Bad Stuff Happens: How the Crisis Communications Team Responds

DESCRIPTION
The work of crisis communication is largely focused on preparation and response. To prepare for a crisis, school districts must have a detailed crisis communication plan with a crisis communication team assigned to execute the plan. This webinar will feature Rick Kaufman, APR, sharing how crisis communications teams can effectively respond when bad stuff happens. With a well-designed plan, an organization is more likely to respond to a crisis quickly, take immediate steps to control the message and successfully regain the public's trust.

HOW TO REGISTER - SELECT THE CORRECT PRICE
Select the ticket based on the type of registration. You will be presented with four options: member, nonmember, Basic Bundle and Premium Bundle. Bundles must be purchased in advance of registration in TSPRA's online store. If you need help with a purchase, contact the State Office at info@tspra.org before you register for an event.

• Individual tickets for members are $30 each, for nonmembers $40 each.
• If you purchased a Basic Bundle of 2 or 3 tickets in the online store and prepaid, enter your code when the invoice is created at the end of the registration process. Your invoice will be reduced to zero.
• If you purchased a Premium Bundle of tickets in the online store and prepaid $100 for 9 sessions, enter your code when the invoice is created at the end of the registration process. Your invoice will be reduced to zero.

Each prepaid code can only be used once.

NOTE: You must assign a registration ticket to a particular person's name. If you are buying the ticket for yourself, select THIS IS MY TICKET. For other people select ASSIGN TICKETS. For members, start typing their name in the box and if they are a current member their name should pop up. Be aware that the search system will only find the name as it is spelled in our member database. For non-members, you will need to add them.
